Brimson is a village in Grundy County, Missouri, United States. The population was 63 at the 2010 census. Originally named Taylor but renamed Brimson in honour of William George Brimson who was vice president of the Quincy Omaha & Kansas City Railroad Co. The company laid the railroad from Chicago to Kansas City. He visited the town on several occasions with his daughter Alice WS Brimson. William was born in Tiverton, Devon, England in 1845 and emigrated in the early 1850s with his parents and siblings. His grave is located in Mount Hope Cemetery, Worth, Chicago, where he died in 1930. Family members including his daughter Alice are buried. ==Geography== Brimson is located at (40.144230, -93.737977).
